Stranded with a Scotsman

Rated 4.50/5 based on 2 reviews
A romantic short story.

Cori Spencer doesn’t particularly mind being stuck in a refuge hut three feet above the rising tide in the middle of the night. She’s either going to kill him or kiss him—and she’s not sure which option is the most likely. More

About Serenity Woods

Serenity Woods lives in the sub-tropical Northland of New Zealand with her wonderful husband and gorgeous teenage son. She writes hot and sultry contemporary romances with a happy ever after, and she would much rather immerse herself in reading or writing romance than do the dusting and ironing, which is why it’s not a great idea to pop round if you have any allergies. She also writes fantasy novels as Freya Robertson, and won the NZ Sir Julius Vogel Award for Best Novel in 2014 for her debut epic fantasy, Heartwood.

Review by: heatherbartley on June 04, 2013 :
This is a great contemporary romance short story. It has a very unique setting - a 4ft by 10ft wooden platform surrounded by the high tide on the coast of Scotland. The two characters had depth, intelligence, and lovely conversation. It is a sweet story. No sex actually happens, but there is a little coarse talk about sex. I really liked this story!
