This is the most thought provoking story I've read at Smashwords. The characters are vividly portrayed and conflict is rampant from start to finish. New twist continually arise in the life of the main character. Whether you are a liberal, conservative or a libertarian you should read it to the conclusion before forming your opinion. I still believe Ayn Rand wrote the best novels dealing with totalitarianism but Stealing Second points out the dangers we will surely face in the future if the government officials are left to rule unchallenged. Editing is better than average but not perfect. Congratulations to the author.
