For years, the inter-planetary slave traders had stayed one flight ahead of the Military. Paradoxically, their acceptance of the honesty of science had led them to discover what most of their law abiding species had not: Highly evolved alien bodies worth a fortune in platinum lurked in many of the Federation's jungles.
How advanced was the technology that kept this evil trade out of the Military's laser sights? What share did their political masters take from this lucrative enterprise?
The search was spread throughout the Galaxy to find a team of heroes that could succeed, as suggested by their genetics scans; and those that would succeed, as determined by their deeds.
State of the art resources would back those that dared take on an organization, as well as risk the spitting hell from smugglers' lasers. This alone would not be enough, the Military had to start by discarding politics along with its prejudices, to give themselves any chance of ridding the heavens of these merchants of death!
