About Maxwell Zachs

Max Zachs is a Stockholm based writer from London well known for his television role on 'My Transsexual Summer' he has a long work history in Queer activism and academia.
He took inspiration for his first book 'The People's Republic of Nowhere' after supporting a charity that works to secure safe asylum for Queer people who have escaped the brutal regime in Iran and after visiting Queer prisoners of conscience in Korea.

Loved the book, read it right through it kept me wanting to know what was next. I found it tantalizing without being smutty and the characters interesting. I hope Max writes another one.
