About Joe Vasicek

Joe Vasicek is a Science Fiction writer who has lived in the mountains of Utah, the forests of New England, the Bedouin deserts of Jordan and the fertile vineyards of the Caucasus. When he writes, though, his mind is anywhere but this world. One day, he will look down on this planet from space. But until then, he's always writing.

I'm sorry to give only two stars but even that may be too many. Usually I like Joe's books but this one (actually four) just doesn't work for me. The main character (Jeremiah) is about as smart as a box of rocks and can't seem to think past his nose and is constantly walking into stupid situations.
Secondly, and this is the part that hurts to say, you can read one out of three pages and you won't miss a single thing. The book is literally 2/3s filler with zero substance. I mean come on, how many times do you need to describe the inside of a spaceship the size of a closet?
To all readers, if you have a desired to be bored silly with a book lacking any science fiction (No Joe, using the word spaceship does NOT make it science fiction.) then this is the book for you. All others would do well to find something else.
