Great fantasy. Very dark and poetic.

Another odd Dennis story, a necromancer's apprentice aids the old man in acquiring a stone that's supposed make him immortal. That seem the point of the story, but then it isn't. It's a short story, so it's hard to write too much without spoiling the story, but in the end, it seems this was another story with a point to make or a lesson to teach, and it seemed to me at least that the lesson was to avoid obsessions, to try to stop obsessions from taking over your life.
I liked it. It was weird and dark, and there was a really cool part where the necromances was making new bones out of powdered cow femurs or something.

A great fantasy novel and I'm sure you'll develop and improve your skills over time. 5 stars for your effort and style, however on a small point your cover image clearly says copyright 2010 Colrath. Unless you are this person or have permission to use his image on the cover, don't. I know people who've been sued over copyright breaches. Secondly, there's no title on the image, even a basic title and your name is a start. But all in all it's great. :)
