About The Author
George McVey is an ordained pastor who has worked in several different types of churches. He lived in several different states, but has finally settled in his home state, West Virginia. George is married to his high school sweetheart, Sheri. The two have been married 26 years. Together they have 3 children now Valerie, George Jr., and Alfred. Valerie has given them one grandson, Nathan.
PG, as his friends call him, has always been a storyteller. As a teen he used to create and tell stories to his friends and family. As a pastor he makes up stories to illustrate the points of his sermons and Bible study lessons.
Two years ago God moved PG to begin to write. He has written several Bible studies and short stories. His first two books are non-fiction Bible studies. One day he woke up with several characters in his head trying to tell him their stories. He began writing them down. One of the stories is this book. He is currently working on the sequel entitled Redeeming Trail. PG is also working on another non-fiction book entitled The Weapons of Our Warfare

After reading "Redeeming Reputation" I couldn't wait to read "Redeeming Trail" and I was not disappointed.
George has another winner on his hands with this one.
It has everything you could want in a Christian book. Looking for romance, it's there. Looking for history, it's there, even the old west is there. Looking for a good laugh, it's there too.
Nathan and Grace have gotten a great group of people together and built a family out of them, from all walks of life. Glad I read this and can't wait to read "Redeeming Grace".
If you are looking for a book to keep you reading, read any of the Redemption series.

I've known George for several years now, and I've come to know that he has a real creative mind, and a lot of imagination to be able to write a fictional book and keep the story plot going!
It takes a lot of thought and planning to create a story, and to keep his reader 'captivated' to the story. And to write a continuing series.. wow! My attention span to think ahead to build a story is not an easy task!
George, you outdid yourself! You did an excellent job! I do enjoy westerns, and always have since I was a kid.
I had the honor of editing George's first book, and I know how George's mind works when it comes to writing. He is responsible for me becoming an author through his inspiring me and encouraging me because he seen in me a Calling to write..
I give this book and it's beginning book Redeeming Reputation a 5-star thumbs up!
