The Shadow Men
The Shadows are released. Released to save us. Floating up to the edges of space in the night. Light must not touch them, light eats away at them, until they are shrunk to the size of an atom, and then destroyed into mist.
They save the humans with their own lives. All because of destiny. For us.
And we don't even know it. More
The Shadows are released. Into the air to save us all from thunder, lightning and meteors. Why though? Why should they save us? Destiny, destiny is their driving force, the force that pushes them up, the force the drives them onwards. The force that keeps them strong, the force that keeps them brave. For us.
But if we kill them, what will we become? A meteor theatre? A lightning show? Yet we cannot resist the temptation to find them, to know everything about them. Are they a threat? Kill them.
But even so, they save, they endure the prejuice of a human, the endure the light of day, they endure the what we can't. So they save us. They save us all.
And we don't even know it.
