Only 40% of the words here are the title story, the rest is buy my other work.

The words all go together fine. The story line is somewhat implausible and the breakthroughs unlikely. But as there does not seem to be an intent to make the work realistic, I am not holding those points against it.

A clever and enjoyable read. Jim captured the pulse of New York City, the dame's ultra-chic style and Damon Runyan's underground gangster-types. ps: I will have to try one of those donuts the next time I get insomnia.
