Intriguing concept, the Darcy's of Pemberley being rather less genteel than hitherto thought and more genocidal, more Sicilian than civilised. This slither of a story hints at Lizzie nee Bennet's recent training in her husband's shady activities of which Austen appeared to give few, if any, hints. There is no clue as to whether the business they are involved in is on a for-hire basis, essential to the wellbeing of the estate, or simply for the hell of it. The actual book this sequential afterthought refers to is apparently published on the 1st of July. Not certain if I will be tempted, but it is certainly imaginative.
