Flash fiction. 700 words dealing with loss. First published by Parthian in the anthology The Month Had 32 Days, it's a story set in Wales but could be anywhere or anyone, pain is not particular about who you are or where you are.

About maggi summerhill

Maggi is Danish, but lives in Wales with her husband and two boys. She has a Masters in creative writing and script writing and has contributed to a number of online and printed publications, including anthologies published by Parthian Books and Fine Line Publications.
All her works reflects her life long interest in the workings of the mind and consciousness in particular.
The Girl from Limerick is her first full length fiction novel and is a journey into the more sinister side of human nature.

Hard going. Difficult grammatical constructions and errors (eg. cold grabs his angles) doesn't assist the reader in working this tale out. It feels like wading through mud.
