About DeeDee Dupree

My name is DeeDee Dupree. I am a Christian 41 year old woman. I'm a mother of one fantastic son and the wife to a hardworking, loving husband named Jason. My passion is writing. I love it! I love building the characters, deciding how their lives will turn out and enjoy the twists and turns along the way. To me, there is no greater compliment than when someone has just read my book and they express sadness, anger or elation. I love moving people with my words and story lines. I hope you will enjoy reading my books as much I as enjoy writing them.

All I can say is this author must have a teenage daughter! I have a 15 year old and the main character reminds me so much of her and the sibling rivalry she has with my younger son. The author really captured the inner workings of a troubled family. I LOVED this book. I read it from start to end sitting at my desk, when I should be working. Read the book after I saw a good review from a friend on Facebook. I enjoyed how the story focused not only on the character Kaylee but went on to show the relationship and marriage of the parents. My favorite part is how the author did not leave me hanging out to dry at the end, book offered closure which is something I feel a lot of books lack. I havent ever heard of this author before but would like to read more of the same. Only thing negative I can say about this book is I wish it had been somewhat longer and some chapters left me to use too much of my imagination. Other than that, a wonderful read but be prepared to shed a tear or two. HAPPY I READ IT!
