Songs of Distant Memories

A young girl sings a song that causes an elderly man to relive forgotten memories of himself and his younger sister when he was a young boy. But he begins to doubt the accuracy of his memories when he recalls travelling to other worlds; changing into a girl; and acquiring strange powers. He believes that none of those things could have possibly happened, and yet his memories seem so real.

About Tommie Fremouw

Born and raised in the city of Northfield, Minnesota. Graduate of Hamline University in Saint Paul, Minnesota with a B.A. in Mathematics, and with a teaching certificate. Commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Air Force; trained in communications/electronics at Keesler Air Force Base in Mississippi; and served as a tactical communications officer at K.I. Sawyer AFB in the upper peninsula of Michigan. Upon completion of military service, returned to Minnesota and began a career as a computer programmer. After programming for several years, became a computer consultant and worked for several different companies before retiring.

Growing up I enjoyed reading and collecting super-hero comics. I eventually stopped collecting comics and started buying anime instead. I’m also an avid reader of science fiction. The stories that I write are also in the science fiction genre, with a little bit of fantasy mixed in, with gender bending themes, and with lots of action/adventure.
