Nanny Ab and her assorted tribe are a Tour de Force and her target is the family's favourite spot in Catalonia, Spain.

However, all is not well on the Spanish Front when a NEW ROAD to it is discovered and the world famous SPANISH HOLIDAYs unexpectidly coincide with their plans.

This is a hilarious account that needs to be read BEFORE your next impromptu trip, whether you are a Caravaneer, Camper or beach-loving tourist!

This is a cute take on a working vacation. The story is cute, funny and interesting. I felt as if I was along on the adventure abroad.
Recommendations: If you like a lighthearted, funny short story give this a try.

Rib-tickling, piquant memories and I can’t complain about the price.
Nanny Ab takes us on a chaotic and lightning tour of Southern France/Northern Spain, with LOL moments of madness.
So much of this calls to me. Having spent a greater part of my life as trucker, I can feel the wanderlust. As an inveterate European holidaymaker, I can also identify with some of the frustrations, even down to the disappointment of camping so close to Lloret-de- Mar. As a long-suffering married man, I can also sympathise with many of the irritations, right down to the dog whose bark is bigger than his reservoir of courage.
A quick and very funny read.

This is a fabulously funny, light-hearted yet heart-felt (!) anecdote of the author's holiday experience camping in Spain. I could picture it so well! I love how she speaks about herself in the third person as a wacky kind of witchy lady - it makes all the trials and tribulations that much more hilarious - in a 'thank God I'm not there' kind of way. I think we can all relate to this - it's just brilliant - a great read!!

The best humour is based on reality, as this is. Very funny, and essential reading for all first-time campers, I'd say.

Four go Mad in Catalonia by Ailsa Abraham is a rollicking ribald tale concerning camping trips in the Basque region of Spain. Herself and the Ancient Mariner accompanied by their dogs meander humorously through the camp-sites of Catalonia to suffer their various inconveniences. Small children, other campers, site rules, fiestas and exploding fireworks amongst them. Ailsa vividly veers from the subject in a host of comical digressions. If you have a sense of humour you will enjoy this.
