About Gregory Urbach

Custer at the Alamo is my 11th book, following the nine book Tranquility science fiction series and Magistrate of the Dark Land, my first fantasy novel. I hope to have two more novels available next year, Slave of Akrona and Rebels of Akrona. I live in California's San Fernando Valley with my artist wife, Kwei-lin Lum, where we collect books and popular culture artifacts.

Review by: Nicholas J. Ordinans on July 22, 2013 :
I am no expert on either Custer or the Alamo, but I found this speculative work to be engaging and informative in equal measure. Experiencing events through Custer's viewpoint was an interesting exercise and I was delighted that Davy Crockett was depicted as the sympathetic character I fondly recall from the monochrome TV adventures of my childhood.

A thoroughly enjoyable read.
