About Gregory Urbach

Custer at the Alamo was my first time travel/alternate history book. It took a decade to research. The sequel, Custer and Crockett, was released in October, 2016. Reviews have been good. My science fiction novels include the nine-book Tranquility series about a boy orphaned on the moon and raised by computers. In 2014, the series was extended with Slave of Akrona. Magistrate of the Dark Land is my first fantasy novel, the tale of a cowardly lawyer searching for two kidnapped girls in a war torn medieval land. In 2017, I will be publishing two contemporary action/adventure novels titled Diminished Capacity and Diminished Capacity 2: Second Chances.

Review by: Nicholas J. Ordinans on July 22, 2013 :
I am no expert on either Custer or the Alamo, but I found this speculative work to be engaging and informative in equal measure. Experiencing events through Custer's viewpoint was an interesting exercise and I was delighted that Davy Crockett was depicted as the sympathetic character I fondly recall from the monochrome TV adventures of my childhood.

A thoroughly enjoyable read.
