I really enjoyed this story. My opinion of this author is that they are very talented, I was hooked right away and loved the main characters. I thought the author did a really good job of adding secondary characters (family and friends) that helped you get to know the main characters better. I thought that the plot showed a lot of creativity by the author. I liked the story so much that before I even finished I looked up the author to try to find more of their work. I was very surprised to see a review by someone who only gave the book 2 stars. I think maybe the other reviewer was expecting a different kind of story. I personally found that the characters seemed realistic to me. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and different people like different kinds of books. I don't want to give away spoilers and ruin the book for someone else. I would definitely recommend this book, but warn that if you are very religious, you might be offended by some parts -there are definitely "sex scenes" and it is definitely an adult book, but i found lots of heart-warming parts too. I will look for other work by this author. I would give this book 4.85 out of 5 so I will round by score up to 5.0 :-)

I had a hard time getting through this book for several reasons, but I did read through to be able to be write a review.
First thing that I found annoying was many errors in spelling, word usage, and punctuation. The author never spelled the word "too" correctly. There were also a lot of places where commas and periods were needed to clarify sentences.
Another thing was that from the description and some of the book, I was expecting Samantha to be more conservative in her morals. She was foul mouthed and selfish. She put her sexual escapades before her son and family. I also did not expect such explicit sex scenes. I found myself disliking Samantha and Ben more as the book went on. They never communicated well and of course this became a point of conflict multiple times. I guess maybe it was supposed to add to the plot, but it was just annoying to me.
The plot was interesting with Samantha having such a difficult ordeal in her past, and with having the problems of the past come back and having to deal with it. I would have preferred a little more of development of the problems and how they were dealt with, both in the case of the pasts of Samantha and Ben.
