About Taylor Lambert

I’m Taylor Lambert. I am a journalist and writer, and I’ve done a fair amount of neat things under those titles. Thus far in my career, I have been a sports writer, columnist, court reporter, general news reporter, desker, photographer, freelancer, and investigative journalist for numerous Canadian newspapers and magazines.

I’m also the author of Leaving Moose Jaw, a travel memoir of India, and Rising, my bestselling narrative look at the 2013 Alberta floods. Rising became a No. 1 Calgary Herald bestseller and has won recognition and acclaim from major schools of journalism such as UBC and Concordia. I have been hosted at universities and colleges across Canada to speak on the subject of independent journalism.
