Review by: Darrell Candis on Aug. 09, 2013 :
Promising, but flawed.

The plot was interesting and well developed. This is obviously meant to be the first in a series, though the book does reach a satisfactory end. However,

The protagonist was poorly developed. We learn almost nothing about him for the entire book. It is so bad that he could be completely replaced and not impact the story.

The planet descriptions were far too detailed and slowed down the story.

I won't be buying any other books in this series.
