Karyn Pearson is the up-and-coming author of the Hellfire Trilogy of post-apocalyptic fantasy novels. Her first published novel and the first in the series, Spark, will hold you from beginning to end with its masterful character development, fast pace, well-developed war-torn landscapes, and gripping story of personal struggle and desperate battles for retribution and survival. Her current projects include the completion of the second book of the Hellfire Trilogy, 'Inferno'. Ms. Pearson recently graduated from the University of California, and is a lover of books, music, food, and her fur babies, though not necessarily in that order.

I really loved reading this book. It had great pacing and awesome character building. I really loved this book because I often wonder what would happen if present day society were to crumble; and I love knowing others take on “the end” whether it be religious or scientific. I really hope the plot gets even better than it already is down the line in this amazing trilogy.
