Half Baked

Rated 5.00/5 based on 1 reviews
I titled this book "Half Baked" because in a Filipino folk tale of how man was created, man was made out of clay and put in an oven. The ones that weren't cooked all the way were Europeans, and the burnt ones were Filipinos. My mom is from the Philippines and my dad is of German descent, so I thought this title was a perfect fit.

About Kristi Victoria Hancock

Hi, I've been writing poetry since I was 11 years old. I also love taking pictures, making art and music, spending time with my Shih Tzu, Mocha. I enjoy having good friends, which get rarer as I age these days.

I also have an interest in mental health, because I have Bipolar Disorder. I am an admin for a facebook page called Curing Bipolar Disorder and Schizophrenia.

My dream is to one day finish college, which is very hard, because many times I lack the concentration to stay on one topic at a time. So far I finished CNA training in July 2015. I want to work with people someday and use my love of art with them. My favorite form of art is photography because it's easy to use with a computer, and doesn't take as much time as art does.

Ideally I'd be able to follow all of my hobbies and become successful in the arts. It feels like I'll never get that far, but I want to, dearly.

Feel free to contact me if you loved my work. I am most easily reached through my facebook link.

A witty title and a revealing look at a young woman who seems even more interested in helping others than herself.

A very human portrait of suffering and compassion - it has helped me see more than I could before.
