Michael didn’t want anyone to die, but when someone did, he wasn’t about to wait around and face the consequences. He did what anyone who knew him would expect him to do. He ran. His escape set a series of escalating tragedy in motion, each incident building on the preceding event. Was the voice in Michael’s head real or imagined? Was Michael really travelling alone? “Born to Run” is a well written tale that keeps the reader engrossed and wondering, until the unexpected ending that explains it all. This is not the first story I've read by this author. I look forward to reading others.
