About David Parks-Kennedy

David Parks Sensei has spent the last 30 years teaching the art of Aikido to students ranging from children to doctors, lawyers, businessmen and women, police and military the techniques of Aikido and Japanese sword.

He began his study of the art in 1978 and in 1986 went to Japan to continue his studies for another 2 and a half years. Parks Sensei says since the day he began, he has never looked back. Aikido is his vocation.

He had various teachers in Japan and the US and is a third-generation instructor in line from the Founder of Aikido, Morihei Ueshiba.

His last rank in the art was 5th degree black belt and he is now the head of an independent Aikido organization.

He spends his time between teaching and researching Aikido and Internet marketing in order to spread the word about his art.

Parks Sensei trains Aikido instructors professionally. He also teaches his students how to live healthy, satisfying, productive and stress-free lives while learning to find happiness in any circumstances.

In his spare time Parks Sensei love to read, garden and study. He currently speaks, reads and writes in several languages (including, but not limited to, English, Spanish and Japanese).
