Reviews of Adam's Apple (Touch of Tantra #1) by Liv Morris

A Prosper reviewed on Oct. 30, 2013

A hot and sexy novel featuring intriguing characters, it's great that this book is the beginning of a series because I feel invested in Kathryn and Adam now. The plot of the novel creates a Tantric-like build up for the reader, with a well-described growing flirtation and seduction, characters undeniably drawn to each other, and heightened emotions because of the dramatic and dangerous decline of one of Adam's friends and business partners. Bit by bit intimacy (of all kinds) develops and deep secrets are revealed. It's a rare glimpse into the sexiness of intimacy that comes from revealing oneself (especially for a character like Adam who normally possesses lovers who he doesn't even allow into his hotel penthouse home) in a slow burn, true fashion. There is a lot of tension--sexual tension, mystery, danger and emotional tension. Will Adam be able to bear it? Will he be accepted? Really good writing and plotting make all of this happen, and the release is SO GOOD. I'm looking forward to the next book!.
