K.j.Broadhurst published his first short story Soot, Whisky and Ho Ho's in 2012 and later published War, Tape and Tinsel in 2013. He is currently re-writing a series of short episodes for publication titled The Shenanigans of Aggies Elbow. A story about a carer who is found dead in a Residential Homes washing machine and James White who seeks to find the murderer. Only in the proccess he himself faces a decision that could change his life forever...

I enjoyed both stories. On the constructive critical side, I noted a thread of anger and resentment seemed to run along both stories, making me wonder if that was going to be a trademark. On the other hand, I enjoyed the innovation of a telepathic Santa and the revenge of an abused assisted care facility against an (un) care worker.
