About Mario Walsh

Firstly, thank you for supporting my five books; Episode III, Episode IV, Episode V, Episode II, and recently I. A lot of hard work and time has gone into this story. I've been working on this series since September 2007, and have released Episode III first as I feel it was necessary to tell Syra's story first. The order that I will release the series is Episode III, IV, V, and then Episode II, followed by I. Now that all five are available, you can read them in chronological order as well. The Time Series - Episode VI - X - will be released afterwards.

A bit about me

I'm a 31 year old author from West Auckland, New Zealand, who has recently relocated to Australia. I love action and Science Fiction - especially time travel. This series is my attempt of merging both these loves into one.
My father introduced me to the 'Back to the Future' trilogy at age 6, so since then I've always been pretty obsessed with Time travel.
If you have any questions about my series, like my facebook page and ask anything you like, i'd be happy to answer.
One last thing. My book has a lot of violence in it, which does not mean that I condone it in the real world. You see, I dissect a scene in my head and describe it on paper how I see it. It's just how I have always been; I love vivid detail.
Again, a big thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Just a note about the two negative reviews... They say the positive reviews are fake? No their not. If you look, yes most of them have only reviewed Mario Walsh's books. That's because their his friends who have been following his story and really enjoying it. A lot of them are people who we don't know who must also be enjoying this series.. If you ask me it is kind of strange how 3 different people all start an account on the same day and leave a negative review on two different books on that exact day. THAT sounds more 'fake' to me!
To anyone that is unsure about whether or not they would enjoy this book, READ IT!! Mario has never pretended to be the best. It is a great story written by an every day guy. Yes I'm sure there is mistakes and if you're picky maybe don't bother, but if you can look past that and see this story for what it is, I know you will enjoy it!
It is actually an interesting read that keeps you wanting more! The book is free. What have you got to lose? Nothing! You will gain the chance to read an amazing book, with a fantastic storyline and learn a lot. Mario is a smart guy and he likes to challenge the reader and get them to think about stuff. Be prepared to pay attention. Mario's philosophy in life: Everything happens for a reason. Therefore everything that happens in his book has a purpose, no matter how small or strange it may seem. Hope you guys enjoy it as much as I did :)

not only are all these reviews fake (if you look, they've only reviewed these books and nothing else) but this writing is absolutely terrible.

awful. seriously don't bother.

So awful. Couldn't make it to the end from the over-descriptiveness. Narrative is all over the place. I've never read anything in that "first-person-omniscient-present-tense" kind of format that worked.

Don't waste your time. Dull.

Also most of these reviews are suspicious. Lots of "great imagination!" used everywhere. Dodgy.

This book had me hooked from the start. The grammar suffers a little bit in parts, but the story more than makes up for that. The science fiction side of it doesn't seem to shine through till very late in the story, but this will surely be more evident in the next installment. Keen to download the rest of the series and get into them.

Intelligently written book with many unforeseen circumstances, each page taking you to a new destination. Well thought out Main and side characters developed from head to toe, as well as refined inhabitants of the word.

The book provides a maintained balance of action, comedic relief and pop culture references that you are sure to spend an hour or so flipping the pages before you put it down, Its hard not to have a good "time" reading this book

The writers imagination is off the chart, this is a well thought out world with vivid characters and a book that is exceptionally difficult to put down.

This book is really good for a young reader or a newbie to reading, but even experienced readers will enjoy the fullness of the story.

I am really looking forward to where this story may go with the next few books that are currently in editing.

Tales of The Arter Gems: Episode lll: The Chosen one, by Mario Walsh
It’s a thinker!
For those that enjoy an intellectual read and thought provoking ideas, this book is what you are after.
Based on a young West Auckland girl named Syra, whose entire existence goes from Zero to Hero in an instant, a journey of self-discovery and realizations she is confronted with as she learns and carries out, the purpose of her existence!
Out of the ordinary, but in a good way. Get lost in paradoxes of time, events and characters where what things appear to be are not.
Infused with concepts for all readers: Love, Pain, Purpose, Adventure, Violence, Good and Evil. Every possible emotion is carefully introduced and developed through this book making it relatable to many.
A great read for anyone!

This book is an amazing read! A bit graphic at times (just a warning) but that's obviously the readers style which he does so well. I love that there is a female main character, Syra is definitely someone that a lot of people can relate to. Was a hard book to put down, I just always wanted to keep reading and see what happens next. Definitely a lot of action, which keeps you on your toes, you never know what will happen. I'm frustrated with the cliff hanger ending!! What happens next?? I want to read Episode IV!!
