As follow up to a previous book this one revisits the beloved Cruz family girls and delves into the people that control the investments of the now rich Cruz family owing to the heroic efforts of ex-detective Ben Hood.
Fraud, murder, witchcraft, be-trail, jealousy and excess all combine to knit together another fantastic episode in the lives of this family in need of saving.
Done it again Drew.

Another brilliant book by Drew Lindsay. When Ben Hood reunites with the Cruz family especially Sam and Irene it makes this story a real winner. The characters have a history with Ben (from one of Drew Lindsay’s previous books “The Dead Woman’s House”) and he has become part of the family. He is bought in to investigate some fraudulent activities by people involved in managing the Cruz family fortune. People mixed up in managing the Cruz money all begin to die in suspicious circumstances. Witchcraft and the Supernatural are involved and in Ben’s inimitable style, he works together with the police to get to the bottom of the all the deaths as well as uncover who is responsible for mismanaging the Cruz family fortune.
This story is set in Surfers Paradise in Queensland, Australia and offers the reader everything from murder, witchcraft, fraud and much more. I thoroughly recommend this book to anyone wanting sheer entertainment.
