Before Whom We Stand: The Everyman's Guide to The Nature of God. The title captures my attention; I buy the book. "The introduction” stimulates my interest immediately; I am introduced to two great prophets, Elijah and Elisha, who often used the phrase, "As the LORD God lives, before Whom I stand". The entire work is great reading, informative, thought provoking and challenges us! Lee Ann, using the Bible as the foundational standard and authority, brings a refreshing fire and zeal to a difficult task of revealing God's nature. Contemporary issues or distortions concerning God’s nature are not ignored but examined under the light of the Bible. Even though Before Whom We Stand is not a theological treatise, theological issues are addressed in a direct, scriptural manner with great heart felt concerns from the author. The journey Lee Ann takes us on is worth traveling numerous times.
