Once it dawned that this is post Gone With The Wind [my duh!], I enjoyed the novel from character introductions to plot developments to the ending. The history was well researched and brillantly woven into the framework without overpowering, but contributing the believability. My only suggestion would be to...... well, I don't want it give too much away. Would I read it again?...Yes Would I recommend it?....Yes.
