About Bonnie Bernard

I'm the proud birth-giver to The Midnight Hunter Trilogy - a paranormal, suspense-thriller that features a dash of romance, a sprinkle of mystery, an occasional murder, and a full, fun cast of Underworld characters. Some of them are kind, others are wicked - but all of them will tug at your heartstrings.

The Midnight Hunter Trilogy is published by Fin-S Press and is available in softcover and most ereader-device forms.

After reading another book by this talented author, I was hooked on her work and had to read more. This short story was very entertaining.

When Sheila moved to a new town, she decided to order pizza. It seemed to be love at first sight when she met the handsome young pizza delivery guy. Shelia started to order pizza at least once a week. The third time, she invited the handsome guy, Todd, inside for a "slice". Things quickly heated up and I am not talking about the forgotten pizza!

I thought it was interesting that Todd found Randy, Sheila's hamster, to be "creepy". I used to own hamsters and other pocket pets and I even wrote a short book about them recently. I never found them to be creepy. When Sheila suddenly stopped ordering pizza, Todd dropped by to find out why.

The ending of this book was totally unexpected. The author has written a fantastic short story that is well worth reading - especially if you love pizza and hamsters!

You read enough books by any given author and you think you know what to expect from them, at least in the broad sense. I'm no different. I see "Bonnie Bernard" on the cover and I know to expect comments that will have me burst out laughing at some point. Or maybe thinking "you dumb cluck." But nope, I opened this book and there she was doing her little "gotcha" dance.

This is indeed a (very) short story about a girl who prefers to order in take-out meals. Slice is cute and sassy. Sheila's the new girl in town exploring her "options." Saying anything more would spoil the story for you. Get it, read it, have a laugh. Is it Wednesday? Must be time for pizza. (18+) I was gifted this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is the first book I read by Bonnie and I loved every bit of it. Its funny, sweet and short - With a generous dose of romance.

Quirky and kewl - Just how I like my books to be.

Surely made me hungry so I am gonna order a pizza now and hope I get a cute delivery guy ;) lol.
