I really like this--nice flow, no shock, just shiver. I also appreciate the flash fiction format; a format I used to love squeezing my Horror into. Interesting, spooky and complete!

Another story, even more chills! I have to hand it to Chuck, he grabs the themes that most plague the cliché world of Hollywood; twists them, distorts them, slathers them with our own childhood fears, and hands us a plate of something entirely new, strange and horrifying! I will not be surprised if the next time I sit down to watch a movie, I see 'adapted from a story by Chuck Grossart' somewhere in the titles...

Creepy, well-written story. While reading it, the disturbing alien-doctor scene from that Fire in the Sky movie popped into my head....(which I have clearly gotten over...not traumatized at all...)
'More's' ending will get you, too.

Excellent! We've seen many stories like this one, but rarely, if ever, told from this point of view... truly chilling. Even if you don't believe.
