Linda's writing often reminds me of listening to standup comic routines, as this collection does. In "Museum Piece," she creates a wide range of characters and situations. The laughs keep coming, too, one after another. Snappy dialogue permeates each piece, too. I liked "One of Those Days, Princess, The Ice Cream Man, and The Prince" the best. In "Lunch," she paints a vivid portrait of New Orleans culture. Good laughs in this collection!!
