About George Dwight

“Maybe I’ll open my own restaurant someday,” George Dwight says then bursts into laughter. “Naw. People would probably mob with picket signs and burn my sh*t down. Funny to think about, though, isn’t it?”
Veteran fast-food worker George Dwight is all smiles as he unveils his tell-all Confessions of a Fast-Food Worker (Part 1). “I worked at four different locations,” he says, “and I have five years of stories to tell. I am just getting warmed up.”
Creating a two-part, short-story collection on what he refers to as the “craziest part of his life” has long been a dream of George Dwight’s. “I remember darting around, amongst all the chaos and sh*tty customers, and thinking to myself: I can write a book about this one day. I saw things I never thought I’d see…did things I never thought I’d do…dealt with people I never thought I’d deal with.”
Now in his mid-twenties, the writer looks back at his five-year fast-food career and shakes his head. “I was there and I can’t even believe some of the things that went on behind the counter.”
What can readers expect with Part 2? George Dwight smirks. “I’m a little nervous about Part 2, but I’m going to have a lot of fun with it—a lot of fun. I’ve been waiting a long time for this.”
