She escaped small town life and inadvertently acquired several degrees in Higher Learning. She resides in the Colonies, surrounded by fantastic shoes, where she insists on tea imported from London. She is fond of teeny tiny hats and tropical fruit.

The Parasol Protectorate books are: Soulless, Changeless, Blameless, Heartless, and Timeless. The Custard Protocol books are Prudence (March 2015) and Imprudence (2016). Her young adult Finishing School books are: Etiquette & Espionage, Curtsies & Conspiracies, Waistcoats & Weaponry, Manners & Mutiny (Nov. 2015).

Whilst I didn't think this short story was as strong as Carriger's longer works, it was a fun, quick read. I liked the humour and thought the tea cup communicators were fantastic!
