About Chris Jones

I am an experienced senior manager having worked in both private business and government sectors, with extensive experience of managing change. This has led me to do a lot of recruiting over the years and when it comes to CVs and job applications I've seen the good, bad and downright ugly.

If you follow the advice in my Linkedinterwork book, your next application will definitely be in the good category, hopefully up against a bunch of bad and uglies.

I live in Bedfordshire in the UK (40 miles / 75km north of London if your geography's on par with mine), am a member of Mensa; a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply.

I'm also a Member of the Institute of Customer Service and have appeared in their Journal more than once as a "Customer Service Pioneer."

I hope you enjoy the book as much as I've enjoyed writing it. You are welcome to join my LinkedIn group LinkedInterwork where you'll find useful job-hunting information and articles as well as some friendly folk to swap ideas with.

I bought this book having decided I needed a better job.
I followed each clearly written suggestion by the author, from a new CV through to expanding my profile on LinkedIn. In fairness, it took a few hours to complete and then a series of subsequent "enhancements" as I thought of better ways of expressing myself, but I was pleased with the end product. Other people obviously liked it too, as I have had three contacts from Recruitment Agencies and two actual interviews!! THANK YOU CHRIS JONES!! You know your stuff.
