About L.V. Lloyd

After thirty years of working with the unemployed, coping with threats, tears and broken lives (and these were only from fellow staff), LV Lloyd decided it was time to make her escape. And what better place to go than the world of m/m romance? She started writing Dangerous Tension, her first ebook, years ago, but put it aside due to work and family commitments.
In 2012, she dusted off the foolscap pages stored under her bed, finished the story and turned it into a book. Since then, she has written six more ebooks in the Aurigan Space Saga series, and numerous short stories. Pirate is the sixth book in the series.
LV Lloyd lives in Adelaide, Australia, with her family and two cats. In her spare time she enjoys fishing and visiting the many local wineries.

A story about a man and a man, one of them trying to find out who he really is, and what he might can become.

This is not a coming of age story, don't get me wrong. Both men are adults.

But sometimes life isn't just as easy as it seems. And the ups and downs are hitting adults as bad as teens.

I strongly recommend this story for all who wants to delve into an own universe. You won't waste your time.

Like the first two stories in the Aurigan Space Saga, His Guilty Secret has its fair share of hot male leads, one om (homosexual) and the other questioning his orientation after an encounter with the former. However, this one has the questioning partner willing to take things further right from the beginning... which wouldn't have been a problem if he wasn't about to get married.

Off to a promising start when our heroes are trapped underground, His Guilty Secret manages to keep readers engaged throughout with some well-placed action sequences. Also, brownie points for the little sneak peek into Ferris and Peters' relationship dynamic. The ending is a little abrupt, though, and there are a few proofing errors.

On the whole, it was an enjoyable read and I would certainly recommend this to readers interested in same-sex romance with a twist.

By far my favourite in the Aurigan Space series.
The setting is unique and the stories original.
Most can be read as stand alone, which is a big plus in this series.
I would recommend this book and others written by LV Lloyd.
