Ms. Yawson earned a BA from Harvard University, an MBA from the Wharton School and a JD from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. She works as a securities lawyer and lives in Brooklyn, NY with her husband and two sons. In her spare time, Ms. Yawson enjoys writing about topical issues surrounding race, gender, parenting and self-love. Her articles have been published in The Grio and Huffington Post, among other publications. She is also a radio personality on WBAI in NY 99.5 FM in New York.
