Many of the students, teachers, administrators, and other staff she taught and trained referred to her as a “teacher’s teacher” and a “trainer’s trainer”.
She is an active member of Oakland Baptist Church in Alexandria, VA and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., as well as a board member of Project Discovery Alexandria. She enjoys giving back to the community and working with Vacation Bible School and dropout and truancy intervention projects.
Writing this manual is an outgrowth of Dr. Hall-Haynes’ desire to assist senior citizens and to help her mother learn how to use the iPad and iPhone. Her mother always finds a way to inspire her. Designing and developing this manual has been a pure joy for her as she drew on her many years of experience in technology to make it simple, seamless, and fun.
