Review by: Jonah Phillips on Oct. 10, 2013 :
An excellent debut novella - like On the Road for Generation Y. The author has a preternatural sense of metaphor that keeps the driving themes simmering beneath the surface at all times. A classic coming-of-age story with a decidedly modern twist, the protagonist wrestles with how to reconcile the benefits of a committed relationship and an organized life with the cost of sacrificing the freedom and impulsiveness of youth to get it. A compelling read.
