A love story between a Japanese girl and a British young man in Argentina. The world building is very vivid and the characters are well developed. This story shows a hard time and heartwarming relationship during the war, and that there's still good things in the world during dark days. Highly enjoyable read. Very inspiring.

A rather good read. Obviously well researched. Realistically imagined. Some lovely descriptions and a well constructed story.
