Steamy, Emotional, Intriguing…Just like I like them!
The Storm Inside by Alexis Anne is an incredibly fun and sexy story following Eve and Jake and their attempt to rekindle a love that ended abruptly ten years ago. The first love versus the adult love theme had me relating with and routing for them all the way! Eve and Jake were so carefree in the beginning, but when they try a relationship again there is more at stake for these two love birds and how they sort out their past makes this book extra appealing. The way the story wove both the first time Eve and Jake fell in love compared to their current situation added another level of passion and interest that created a deep, fulfilling story. Not to mention sexy!
Alexis Anne expertly captured the essence of heart break, both old and new, and real relationship struggles with finesse and bold honesty. I was in the moment with Eve and Jake as they navigated meaningful and intriguing situations throughout the story. I also appreciated how snippets of Eve and Jake’s past found their way into the story, allowing me to fully understand their motivation and actions. I traveled each charged step with Eve and Jake on their journey to reconnect and will be reading the sequel to find out where life has taken them!

The Storm Inside by Alexis Anne
i loved the writers portrayal of what life can throw at young love. It shows some of the reasons why its sometimes a good idea to wait a while before getting all serious with someone.
Eve and Jake were madly in love when they were young, so much so that each would die for the other, would give up everything and anything in order to be with each other, to the inclusion of losing themselves.
Jake left town 10 years ago without a word to anyone. He was just gone. And Eve was broken. Now, 10 years later, and Jake is standing on her lawn wanting a second chance. The ups and downs of their relationship will have your laughing, crying, screaming and cheering. It is a great read.
