Crimson Veil

"Tod's final exam in World Religion was coming up and he had decided to write it on western occult theory. Cool right? Wrong. Tod was a bit... impressionable. Spending the last eight weeks looking up every quack in Seattle who wore robes as an excuse to go commando had obviously fried what little brains Tod had left." Strong language warning.

Great story. Definitely a gifted writer here. I love stories with 'twists' in them and here is another.
I loved it and couldn't possibly give less than 5 stars. I can't understand how someone could love a story and not give any criticism but give less than 5 stars. Crazy!!

Great story. I agree the dialogue was realistic and a good twist at the end.
Fun read, thanks.

Another 5 star story. I was an editor for many years before I retired and had to read a LOT of 'crap'. In all honesty this author is very gifted. I would love to read a full length novel and I hope there is something currently 'in the works'.

Really funny, this. I laughed quite a few times. Good story too with some hot teenagers and some devil worship. Nice one.

This is a very good short story, in the Supernatural Romance category that is popular of late.

Tod is into all things Occult, and he's been after a virgin so he can make a deal with a demon...

This story and its twist has been plenty before, but Sherry Donacy has given it her own spin. The writing is fresh and spunky, the dialogue realistic [proper American Teenager dialogue; it reminded me of Richard Laymon], and the story itself is perfectly constructed; not a paragraph is wasted. This is coherent, logical, and believable stuff; I liked it a lot.

I think this is the best story I've yet read by Sherry Donacy.

Really good short piece of flash fiction. A snappy tale with some very funny comedy conversational pieces thrown in to lighten up this story of a young girl turning the tables on rather nasty boy who tries to trick her by diabolical means.

Very funny ending and a great little twist.
