Christi Myers is a wife, homemaker, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who has embraced the art of cooking and entertaining for years. She began cooking as a child and by nineth grade shared the responsibility with her sister Nanette of having dinner meals on the table promptly by 5:30. Cooking evolved into experimentation with all kinds of foods, menu planning and a love for entertaining but especially a love for preparing foods for those nearest and dearest to her heart…her entire family.
Having been the wife of a traveling military man facilitated the choice to be a stay at home mom, most of the time, accepting odd jobs on occasion to benefit financial needs.
She has served in hospitality positions in the military’s Protestant Women of the Chapel and other church groups.
Admidst the process of research and experimentation with lactose-free food preparation, Christi recognized the desire to write this book in the hopes that others with this digestive condition could be helped.
Christi owns her own small business, Fingerprint Handbags and Heating Pads and when she is not cooking she may very well be sewing.
Christi and her husband Rob live in Colorado Springs, Colorado where they enjoy the great outdoors, walking, wildlife, their cat Oliver, and many lactose-free meals together.
