About Jennifer David (Writings of a Mrs)

I seem to have this ability to express myself through writing and I rather enjoy it. I learned from a very young age that if I were to write about how I was feeling or thinking it would be well received, often more so than any attempts at verbalizing the same thoughts.

I want to write. Not only about the things that come easily and naturally for me but I want to expand and broaden my areas of confidence when it comes to writing. I have never given it time or attention. I’m not sure how or about what or why but I feel pulled, drawn, that the universe is calling, that it’s time to begin the journey. It is my hope and dream that I get fulfillment from this mecca of mine.

I want to learn and grow as a writer. I want to learn and grow as a listener. I want to learn to engage the reader, stir the reader and most of all connect with the reader.

I would rather save the details of the ‘about’ to my writing. Let it unravel, to let you experience and get to know me through revelations in my writing. I want our relationship to be unique. Have your idea of who I am and what I am about blossom from with in you.

I just bought and read this last night! It was a delight to read. I have been following your blog for some time and I enjoyed seeing a few poems I recognized and some other work I had not seen before. It was beautifully woven together.

I know nothing about poetry and am hesitant to review this medium, but I liked it. I especially liked 'Welcome' I sent a note to my sister in hopes she will enjoy your work as much as I do.

Lovely verse. When I began to read this, I realized that I was being taken by the hand, and asked politely to listen. It takes much talent in simplicity to do so in a limited amount of space that is poetic verse. This work pulls you in, takes your hand, and guides you down a path where emotion lives. Lovely.

I have followed Jennifer's blog for months and have enjoyed her stories and poems from there... To have them in e-book format is wonderful. She is an amazingly talented writer whose stories make one think, laugh, cry, and just enjoy a good tale.

Keep up the great work! Love the stories.
