Glory

Students were discouraged from venturing into the park's public toilet. Of course they all knew, in whispers and titters, it was because of the hole.

This cautionary horror is part of a suite of short science fiction, urban fantasy and horror stories by BP Gregory, each its own little maelstrom of human suffering and longing. Contains disquieting (adult) themes. More

About BP Gregory

Monsters, machines and roaming cities, insanity, betrayal and lust! Author and avid reader, BP Gregory was always an oddment to justify the most terrible things. With such tales you shouldn’t always feel comfortable or safe.

Coming from a sober, orderly corporate background she has been a student of archaeology and a dilettante of psychology, biological science and prepping culture. However it was her love of writing about people that drew her strongly to science fiction, horror and urban fantasy: all engines for frogmarching hapless characters through extreme situations. A process of painfully peeling back layers to discover what, if anything, lurks within. Do we each treasure some inviolate core of self, kept safe from our actions and choices? Would it matter if nobody saw it?

BP Gregory is the author of three novels including the newly released Something for Everything (second in the Automatons series). A stroll down life’s eerie back alleys with a few collections of short stories, and a horror novelette which is a youthful messy love letter to her home town round out the picture. She lives in Melbourne with her husband where she is currently writing The Town, an Australian horror novel about a mysterious burnt out town that should never have been there.
