About F.J. Schurr

F.J. grew up in Western New York, once upon a time. He now finds himself crossing oceans and traversing continents.

He still gets back to WNY as often as he can, and has a soft spot for the changing color of the leaves in autumn and the three feet of snow in the winter.

Stewed or Candied Yams by F.J Schurr

Young Billy listens to the story his Uncle Jessup tell of his road trip with his friend Remus. They stop at a cafe that has a sign Stewed or Candied Yams. A quirky tale with interesting characters and a fun bizarre story. If you like short stories with quirky, slightly dark themes, you will enjoy this read. I would love to read more by F.J Schurr.
