There is a voice. There is a door. Should you open the door? The voice says Yes. the voice says Do It. You walk to the door. You see the handle. You grab it. Turn. * Four authors play a game of chinese whispers by writing a chapter and sending it on, only seeing a snippet of the whole each time. * by Cartre Litt More
Each author was tasked with writing a 1,000 word piece of prose and then sending that on to the next one. The catch is you could only see the 1000 words that came directly previous. Essentially, you had to write blind, and no one knew where the next chapter was going to go.
As such, the story is a strange mix of confusing and interesting. The twists are organic and the writing style is flippant, but it's a great way to see how four minds tackle an idea differently.
