About Guy S. Stanton III

I’m a dreamer, a poet, a lover, a husband, a father, and a man of God. I’m inspired by what I’ve seen and what I’ve read, but what I create with my words is where I dream. I pray for inspiration, and I enjoy what I have written just as I hope that others will as well. I’m a quiet man on the outside, but writing has become the playground of my soul to express itself in the grandeur of the created worlds and tales that I have been fortunate enough to dream of. The best way to find out more about me is to read my books. I write from the heart and I express both my shortcomings and my triumphs. I like to think of my writing as 'Reality Fiction'. I tell it like I see it. Life is short and the troubles many, but with faith in Jesus Christ all things have become possible to me. I may write 'make believe', but I strive to live out what I write. I enjoy my work and I hope you do too. Have a blessed time reading my imaginative thoughts.
Sincerely, Guy III

Books like this one make me wish I was illiterate. Because they take you on an amazing journey and then they come to an end. At the end of the book you suddenly realise how unexciting reality is and you know it will probably be a while before you come across another book that is as good.

It is unapologetically Christian. However the beliefs and the scriptures are all part of the story and does not come across as cheesy or trite. Several places inspired me to be more open and bold about my own faith! The story about an alternate society on another planet, founded by earthlings that fled before the flood. They have forsworn modern technology and live as in medieval times. The story contains fighting and battles of an epic scale. There is espionage, love, family, loyalty and lots of evil characters. Not a "chick" book. Can not recommend for readers younger than high school due to mature content. This is the first in the series, and I am definitely reading the rest.

Would have really enjoyed this adventure, however, found the extensive religious dialogue annoying in it's repetition, quantity and placement. Will not be making a rush to read books 2 & 3 already on my bookshelf.

The characters in this story are so real and well developed and the story line is well put together and very smart with battle tactics and such. There were several places in this story that touched my heart in a way that I really needed. A story is good if it can touch your heart and emotions and this one did just that. I highly recommend this to anyone from high school on up, because of violence in the battles fought. Five star plus!!!

A great story and one that I would be interested in following to its conclusion.
My only criticism is the amount of religious propaganda in the story. I appreciate people have strongly held beliefs and religion does have a place in this story, but it is given far too much prominence for my liking. We all have our own beliefs, right or wrong, and people should not force their own interpretation on people.
