Extremely thrilling, very differentiated view of the varieties of political opinion and character.

'The Siege of Apuao Grande' is an action packed thriller set in exotic Philippines. Muir's characters are well written, fully fleshed with clear motivations and easily understood human emotions. His full-on action sequences are the true winner in this well written, adventure novel. While some parts may be a bit uneven in pace, the segments of violence and mayhem are fully well thought out and executed by people too real to not be alive.

I like this book and it was well worth the time reading it. Simply put, it put me off going to Philippine vacation resorts with it's authentic air and locales.
