Tales of a Broken 19

Rated 4.90/5 based on 21 reviews
Tales of a Broken 19 is a narrative of a 19 year-old girl reflecting on the events that took place one summer vacation home from college and the events that she believes to have led up to them. It's a story of depression, love, and heartbreak...with of course some dark humor along the way.

I do agree that it was a little confusing around chapter four, but when I realized why it was that way, I was really pleasantly surprised at how the story was executed. Wonderful job!

It was ok. At first it was confusing and a bit boring but it got better. It still needs a bit of editing though. I noticed simple comma errors and some other things.

I read it twice just to see what I missed in the foreshadowing. This book written in such an artistic way! For a first time author I was really surprised and hope you keep writing! Nice job.

this is a good book for people who like to read monologues.
i liked the shifting back and forth between present and past.
it really caused me to think towards the end.

i have to admit i was a little confused halfway through but when i figured out what happened i was really impressed. this author has an amazing grasp of symbolism and other literary techniques. there were a couple of comma type errors but overall very nice.

Wow. that was really different than anything I've read recently. Really reminded me of the movie The Fountain in the way that the twist at the end was built up to. I really enjoyed it!

This book was amazing! I will be on the lookout for more to come from this author. When I began to realize the twist toward the end I was shocked, but there was a ton of awesome foreshadowing. Very well written!
