About Cori Ferguson

Cori was born in northern Florida, raised in northern Indiana but has called St. Louis her home for the past 20 years. She lives with her wife, 3 sons, dog and 2 cats. She graduated with her undergraduate degree in business and holds two Master's Degree equivalent certifications in Employee Benefits and Human Resources. She majored in American History for the first two years of college and loves all things historical! She spent 14 years of her career working in Human Resources in the aviation industry before transitioning to IT. For the past 4 1/2 years, she has been working back in Human Resources as a Senior Manager, Human Resources. Cori and her family enjoy exploring, traveling and spending time with friends.

Writing lesbian romance part-time was a hobby for years before deciding to self-publish her work. Her focus now is to write stories that share some of the struggles that LGBT people face in life and with their families and how those cause feelings of inadequacy, guilt, shame, etc. She wants to produce a story that actually speaks to readers and is not totally focused on sex. Of course, she always includes the steamy, romantic and quite frequently erotic, scenes! She currently is a one-woman show; writing, proof reading, editing, doing cover art, marketing, running social media sites and publishing her own work. Cori previously wrote under the pen name of "Cori Garrison".

I am always looking for new lesbian romance authors and am really, really glad I found Cori in twitter. Her writing is clear and the cast of characters are very relate-able. The story develops as it unfolds into a romance . Love the passion and eroticism shown in the love scenes, they were more than just sex. Looking forward for the next book..... don't keep us waiting too long Cori!!

Excellent read and looking forward to the sequel! So nice to have the characters develop before the intimacy starts which, I believe, rings true in real life more often than not. Cori does a great job of relaying the thoughts and emotions surrounding intimacy as well as the physical imagery. More please!

This is a story with heart and passion. The characters are relatable, the romance sweet and sexy at the same time. Sam is a sympathetic protagonist, and the rest of the cast (Shawn, Jenna, and Rebecca) are the kind of people you want to root for. They are each faced with unique challenges ranging from death, to bad exes, and simple miscommunication. The erotic scenes are steamy and satisfying, but they are buoyed by the love and compassion exhibited throughout the story. This is not like many Lesbian Romance books, where the characters get their jollies off, then fade to black. This is a story with depth and pathos and care.

This story was an enjoyable read, and you owe it to yourself to give this one a shot!
